Raíces is a small community club, based out of Hanover, dedicated to celebrating, preserving, and strengthening Hispanic and Latin American culture throughout York and Adams Counties, Pennsylvania.

The name Raíces ("Roots") reflects our belief that Hispanic and Latin American families are a fundamental part of the history, culture, and future of our region. For generations, our communities have contributed to the growth of our towns, businesses, schools, churches, and neighborhoods. Raíces exists to honor that legacy while creating opportunities for connection, leadership, and cultural pride.

Our mission is to bring people together through cultural events, educational programs, community engagement, and partnerships that promote understanding, inclusion, and opportunity for all. We strive to create a welcoming space where individuals and families can celebrate their heritage, share their experiences, and build meaningful relationships within and across our communities.

Raíces serves residents of Hanover, York, Gettysburg, Littlestown, New Oxford, East Berlin, and neighboring communities, connecting people beyond municipal boundaries while recognizing the unique identity of each town. Through our network of community ambassadors, volunteers, and allies, we work to ensure that Hispanic and Latin American voices are heard, supported, and celebrated.
